I have lived in the Coolah area for over 40 years, coming from a farming family background and marrying into a family farming enterprise. The focus was on mixed farming to diversify income streams, including cattle, sheep, cropping, and running trucks, and later establishing a small local smash repairs business.
I have spent over 25 years in the Local Government sector in various roles, ranging from Customer Service, Debtors/Creditors, Service NSW, Aged Care/NDIS, and Water Utilities.
I have been heavily involved in numerous community groups, including Pony Club, Polocrosse, Campdraft, Team Penning, and most horse events held locally. I have volunteered extensively, particularly in catering for these events. Much of our group’s funding and income was raised through these efforts, with additional in-kind hours contributed to help secure grant funding.
